Today is also the 53rd birthday of “Crazy” Dave Heist, former owner of Hoptown Brewing in Pleasanton, California. Dave’s still brewing, of course, I expect to hear about his new brewery any time now. Join me in wishing Dave a very happy birthday.

Shouldn’t that be Hoptown Brewing formerly of Pleasanton? I’ve heard from some very reputable sources that Dave is contracting out of Sudwerk now.
