Spot on. I'm even a bit more cynical though in believing that this economic disaster was deliberately rigged to strip us all of what little wealth we have left. Our jobs have been shipped overseas (often with generous tax incentives and subsidies paid for by us taxpayers), and there isn't much of an economy left here to support the crushing debt that the neocons have saddled us with. I suspect the ultimate aim--of both Republicans and corrupt Democrats (certainly a majority between them) has been to deliberately bring this all about. When they bring us down to complete Third World standards, a few companies here and there might reinvest--for the equivalent of starvation wages. I don't know how much beer of any sort is going to be affordable under those conditions--if we continue to let them get away with it. I thought we Americans had more guts than we've shown so far in fighting this.

Interesting. Cram packed with information. I was born in '53. It is a different world. I'm hoping craft beer remains an affordable luxury to help weather the economic storm.
