As a BJCP judge, I need to be reminded to enlarge my vocabulary. I sometimes use the term "dried fruit" to indicate the flavors and aromas imparted by prunes and other dried fruits, such as you would find in some of the dark belgian beers and old ales. Nice list. One added tip -- for some of the descriptors, like Fruity, Spicy, Smokey -- the next useful exercise is to say "what kind of fruit? Apple, mango, prune..." Etc. DMS comes from malt sources & is usually present in beer due to weak kettle boil, or holding hot wort after boil, also not usually from yeast.
