Appropriately, there were tributes and toasts all throughout this year's GABF to our fallen comrade, Michael Jackson, who passed away at the end of August. I particularly liked this large banner hanging high above us in the center of the convention center. It was as if Michael was in heaven and looking down, keeping a watch over all of us. It was an oddly comforting thought.
