This is pretty cool, despite the Corona bottles. According to the musician who made the video, BoTLpLayA, “[he] play[s] Carol of the Bells on perfectly tuned corona bottles (they make the best sound), by “plucking” them with [his] finger.” Hmm, not sure that makes sense, but who am I to argue with the results. Years ago at the the California State Homebrew Champion party at Anchor Brewing, the San Andreas Malts played ‘Anchors Aweigh’ by blowing across tuned Anchor bottles. Tuned and directed by Kevin Johnson it was fabulous. There were probably about a dozen of us – maybe more. How many different notes are in that song?
