Hi - I'm a public relations consultant for Labatt USA. The company added: Imported by Labatt USA, Buffalo, New York 14202 to its label...not a blue Buffalo. Labatt began the label changeover earlier this year on select product but the Labatt Blue and Labatt Blue Light “Buffalo, NY” labels are slowly rolling out to bar, restaurant, grocery and convenience stores throughout the coming months. Please email me if you have any questions. I'm at mpopp@mower.com. Thanks! Mary Beth

But upstate NY is absolutely soaked with this Canadian beer so it is still a good marketing move. You can't pay for a tank of gas from Albany to the land of the sauced wing without tripping over mountains of cases of this Canuck macro-icon for about, what, three dollars a box. I think they also have the pouring rights at Buffalo Bills games...or are they already called the Toronto-Buffalo Bills now? Why any Canadian near the border would pay Canadian prices rather than crossing over to get their favorite brew is beyond me.
