Also, prohibition works poorly in keeping those who want these things from getting them. Similarly, the things themselves aren't bad, though their misuse often is. There's an old saying, "Big dogs must eat". It's corollary is: "The little ones won't willing starve either" that the nanny-staters wold do well to recall when trying to deprive citizens of their druthers.
