Fulacht shouldn't be pluralised as fulachts - but our theory means that it's a misnomer anyway. They should be called brewpits, mash tuns or the Gaelic equivalent (or kitchen sink). We're positing that they were multi-functional but likely to have had a primary use as part of the Bronze Age brewing process. You can't pluralise Irish words just by bunging an s on the end. So the plural of fulacht fiadh is "fulachtaí fia", not "fulacht fiadhs".
