Does stagnation mean that they came up with a great set of beers and kept producing them? I am the type of person who finds what he likes and then sticks with it. I don't tire of Boonville Amber or the Oatmeal Stout.

My first reaction, when hearing of the association with Redhook, Widmer and Goose Island, was of course that of fear. But to be honest, Ken knows what he's doing and it's highly unlikely that he'd hand his baby over to someone with bad intentions. So this all sounds good, but there's still a fighting 5% of me that is ringing alarm bells. It will be great to start seeing new blood flow through AVBC though, the stagnation was getting tedious on the palate.

We were at the brewery yesterday, and it was business as usual. For those of you who believe that AVBC has stagnated, you might want to consider trying the barrel aged sour beer they were serving at the tap room yesterday. It might change your mind.
