While in grad school, I took a business class and had to do an industry analysis. We chose to do macro-breweries. What I found most interesting and at the same time confusing... all the contract brewing and distribution agreements.

Simplest case: Company A owns, brews, and distributes a brand A globally.
Most complication: Company A owns brand B and brews brand B in it's home country, but allows Company B to brew and distribute in other countries.

The example that is coming to mind is Labatt. It was owned by Inbev (pre AB merger), but in the US it was brewed by Coors(?).

Both Fordham and Old Dominion are owened by AB. Starr Hill Brewery is under a distro agreement with AB, no details were ever given.

Look here as well which I am sure you have:
http://craftbrewers.com/Breweries.aspx

The list will get bigger in this coming year as well.

I know, sadly, that there is a whole range of beers under the Keith's label as that is one brew from my old home town that has been bastardized and perverted for many decades at the hands of many evil scientists.
