Thursday’s ad is for Birra Livorno, from possibly the late 1890s, though it could be from as late as the 1920s. From the late 1800s until the 1940s, poster art really came into its own, and in a lot of really cool posters, many of them for breweries, were produced. This poster is for Birra Livorno, an Italian brewery founded in 1893. Livorno is a port city on the Ligurian Sea on the western coast of Tuscany, Italy.
