Yesterday afternoon a rally for the American Homebrewers Association was held at Anchor Brewing. I stopped by to see Gary Glass, director of the AHA (and who I interviewed earlier this year for a story), along with Erin Glass and Bradley Lantham. I’ve know all three from attending CBC and GABF for many years so I took the opportunity to see them when they weren’t working at full throttle at the BA events. I also knew a number of nearly 150 homebrewers that showed up at Anchor, so it was a fun afternoon.
My old friend Bob Brewer was Anchor’s host for the day.
Gary Glass, Erin Glass and Bradley (“don’t call me “Brad”) Lantham from the Brewers Association.
Bob gave the assembled homebrewers a tour of the brewery.
It was reportedly the second-highest attended AHA rally to date.
Toward the end, several items donated by both the AHA and Anchor were raffled.
Including a grand prize of an Anchor mirror.

Also, after everyone had left the rally, Bob asked me to serve some beer while he was busy with something, which was great fun.
Then I took the BA folks over to 21st Amendment, where Shaun was meeting us. Here we drank a toast.
Meanwhile the disco ball was going strong in the brewery.

Following that, we stopped by City Beer Store on Folsom.
