An Evening At Karl Strauss Breweries

April 18, 2008

Friday evening, Karl Strauss Breweries hosted a party in the parking lot of the production brewery, serving their own beer, guest taps from around the area and also some tasty food.

Outside the Karl Strauss Breweries.

The whole parking lot was fitted with heaters and taps lined the two sides.

Tomme Arthur and Luke Nicholas, who makes Epic Beer in New Zealand.

Though it wasn’t obvious, the brewery was open though you had to walk around the back to get to the entrance.

Apparently, they’d just finished moving the offices to another location and things were still in disarray everywhere, though it looked fine to me.

This painting of founder Karl Strauss looks down upon the brewery from on high, or at least a high wall.

Great tagline: “Karl’s My Bud.”

Head brewer Paul Segura, who gave us a little tour.
