Bar Wars

In the on-going question of how beer does in an economic downturn — a.k.a. The Recession — here’s another angle. According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, Bar Wars, many high-end restaurants are converting part of their spaces into bars, serving less trendy pub fare and even featuring beer.
