Saturday’s ad is for Hackerbrau, from the 1920s. Hacker used to be one of the big Munich breweries but merged with Pschorrbräu in 1972 to become the Hacker-Pschorr Brewery. This ad has a decidedly travel adventure in Africa feel to it, and looks like the artistic poster art of that time period.
Hackerbrau needs to be revived…in tech-heavy SF or Silicon Valley. Beer hacking!
