Beer Gift Packs

December 18, 2006 By Jay Brooks

The Dayton Daily News has an interesting gallery of beer gift packs available this year. They may not all be available where you live, but it might give you some ideas if you’re looking for a gift for the beer lover on your secret Santa list.

I was given a gift pack by my co-workers a few days ago. It was a surprisingly good selection of Pacific and Northwest 12-oz microbrews, including E.J. Phair of Concord, Calif. I was always wary of these gift packs because live ales should be refrigerated and gift packs never are. But so far, so good on the my recent tastings.
