Our 113th Guinness ad has a different look to it. Showing a stylized turkey (or as one commenter suggests, possibly a goose) ready for eating, but curiously still alive, the tagline explains things. “My Goodness where’s the Guinness?” I guess he wants a drink before being eaten? I don’t think I’d be smiling.
That looks more like a goose than a turkey to me.
Dirk’s spot on. I’ve roasted & bbq’d geese for my brewclub’s Xmas party a few times – that body shape is goose, not turkey. I’ll take goose over turkey any day for eating, but it ain’t cheap & is a royal pain in the ass to cook because of all the fat under the skin – the drippings fill a 2-3 lb coffee can.
