Beer In Ads #2856: Enjoy Life Duck Hunting

December 16, 2018 By Jay Brooks

Sunday’s ad is for Miller Brewing, from the 1940s. This ad features a man sitting on a riverbank by a case of beer, rifle in hand, waiting for a duck to come in range. He’s grinning like a man who’s had one too many, and I have to wonder why the decoys are just sitting there, and not being used?

I’M wondering how he got all that out to the river! Also not too sure this is an “active sport” in the way this guy is enjoying it.
