Beer In Ads #450: Pick A Pair

October 7, 2011 By Jay Brooks

Friday’s ad is from 1963, and is for Budweiser cans, specifically six-packs of cans. You gotta love the sixties fashion and that hairdo. Doesn’t she look happy picking up two six-packs?

That ad had salacious undertones; unfortunately, her “pair” doesn’t come close to passing muster. The current “Grab some Buds” ad tagline is a rallying cry for stoners & “Aqualungs” everywhere 🙂

(comment so late because I was away & not online much when this ran, & am now cleaning out the archives)
