Beer In Ads #3761: The Entire Family

June 18, 2021 By Jay Brooks

Friday’s ad is for “Rainier Beer,” from 1910. This ad was made for the Seattle Brewing & Malting Co., who made Rainier Beer, and was later known as the Rainier Brewing Company of Seattle, Washington. This one shows a crying child complaining to his mother that as the “family provider” she has neglected to keep on hand a supply of Rainier Beer. And you probably know: “Anybody who gives it a fair trial, from Baby up to Grandpa, prefers it as a beverage.”
