Beer In Ads #837: Move Up To Quality …

April 3, 2013 By Jay Brooks

Wednesday’s ad is for also for Schlitz, from 1953. It’s a more low key Schlitzerland ad, showing a cocktail party under way. With the tagline in the bottom lefthand corner — “Life is Wonderful in Schlitzerland, U.S.A.” — even the dogs and cats are happy.

Hey – somebody replaced the cat’s & dog’s water w/Schlitz. From my experiences w/cats, they don’t like beer, but a late friend of mine who moved to Hinkley after he retired had a cat that loved it. Dogs are more likely to like it – I’ve seen many lap it up.
