Thursday’s ad is for Brasserie D’Eich, from the early 20th century, I believe. From the late 1800s until the 1980s, poster art really came into its own, and in Europe a lot of really cool posters, many of them for breweries, were produced. I’ve been posting vintage European posters all last year and will continue to do so in 2020. This poster was created for Brasserie D’Eich, which was located in Luxembourg, and was founded in 1728. Over the years it had a number of owners before finally in 1951 being acquired by Brasserie Mousel and closed in 1958. I don’t know who the artist was who created this poster.
