Saturday’s holiday ad is for Miller High Life from 1949 and features their “Girl in the Moon” wishing everyone “Seasons Greetings.” I normally don’t keep the “Beer in Ads” series running through the weekend, but there’s just too many great Christmas beer ads not to. And mores specifically, “A Holiday toast to you from the National Champion of Quality … Miller High Life.”

This Ad was done by the Mathisson & Associates Agency – 411 E Mason St Milwaukee WI suite 411.
The agency was bought out from Henry Mulberger by Clarence A. (C.A. – “Matty”) Mathisson in 1947 after Henrys divorce from Lorraine John Mulberger (Granddaughter of founder of the Miller Brewing Co., Fred J Miller)who was on the Miller board with her cousin Frederick C. Miller Sr., (Grandson of the founder) who at the time was President of the Company and very good friends with Matty Mathisson. I met Mr. Mathisson 1972-74.
