Saturday’s ad is still another one for Budweiser, this one from 1958. It’s another ad from their “Where there’s life” series, this one is called “Mama Mia.” A man eating spaghetti in what appears to be a cliched Italian restaurant, wearing what has to be one of the goofiest expressions to ever grace a beer ad, is looking up as a beer can suspended in the air is pouring itself into his glass. I guess he’s just really happy to have another beer.

Friday’s ad is yet another one for Budweiser, this one from 1957. It’s another ad from their “Where there’s life” series, this one is called “Next Time.” A couple out at a bar, standing close together, while a waitress pours the man a can of Budweiser, which is (warning: broken record coming) already exactly full even though there’s still beer pouring out of the can. If if that’s all of the liquid left in the can, it’s still going to spill over. Also, isn’t the waitress a little close to the couple? Either this is a very crowded bar and she has no choice, but the real question is where is the woman’s beer. Does she not get one, too, or are they planning on sharing the one?

Thursday’s ad is still another one for Budweiser, this one from 1958. It’s another ad from their “Where there’s life” series, this one is called “There’s More.” A couple lying on the beach, with the woman eating a sandwich while the man is pouring a can of beer into her glass, which is already full. She’s trying to keep it from overflowing by sipping on it, but with the smile on his face, it looks like he may be doing it on purpose.

Wednesday’s ad is another one for Budweiser, this one from 1961. It’s another ad from their “Where there’s life” series, this one is called “Goodness Knows.” At least three people are having a barbecue, or at a minimum are grilling a steak. One man is in the background sipping his beer, while a second masculine hand is holding a steak with tongs. The woman, wearing a huge and possibly mischievous smile reaches for the only other glass of beer we can see. Is she stealing the other man’s beer, or simply reaching for her own? Her expression appears to suggest the former.

Tuesday’s ad is still another one for Budweiser, this one also from the 1960. It’s another ad from their “Where there’s life” series, this one is called “The Story.” A shiny couple on the beach at night, roasting weenies over a fire, while the woman in a one-piece bathing suit and a cape pours a beer as they both grin unnaturally like Cheshire cats. It must have been a very good day.

Monday’s ad is yet another one for Budweiser, this one from the 1960. It’s another ad from their “Where there’s life” series, this one is called “The Story.” A couple lying on a rug, the man in a suit, while the woman’s in a lovely yellow ensemble. Cigarette dangling from his mouth, he’s pouring another of those bottomless beers. The glass is full, but you see that the bottle he’s pouring from is still at least half full. Let’s just hope he doesn’t drop any ash in the beer.

Sunday’s ad is still another one for Budweiser, this one from, I think, the late 1950s. It’s another ad from their “Where there’s life” series, this one is called “Relax.” A man who’s made some questionable fashion choices relaxes while an unseen feminine hand pours him a glass of beer, which — as is usual for these ads — is about to overflow as the glass is full and the bottle’s nowhere near empty.

Saturday’s ad is another one for Budweiser, this one from, I think, the early 1960s. It’s another ad from their “Where there’s life” series, this one is called “Saturday Night.” A couple are out for dinner on, presumably, a Saturday night, or maybe just having drinks, as there’s only a basket of bread on the table. Those are some large looking glasses of beer.

Friday’s ad is still another one for Budweiser, this one from 1959. It’s another ad from their “Where there’s life” series, this one is called “Next Time.” It’s hard to see what’s going on in this ad. A couple in a darkened room, their faces shiny from the dark red light. They’re dressed up, but he’s taken off his jacket and has his sleeves rolled up. On the counter, bar, table or whatever they’re leaning on, there’s a newspaper, a bag of potato chips and an ashtray, while the woman is pouring a can of beer into a pilsner glass. By the looks of it, if she doesn’t stop right this second, that glass is going to overflow, and with a pretty solid stream still coming out of the can, it may happen anyway.
