Today’s beer video is short film of Brooklyn Brewery co-founder Steve Hindy explaining the reasons he left his job as a journalist to make beer. STeve also recently published his second beer book, The Craft Beer Revolution, this one on the history of craft beer from an insider’s perspective. The film was created by Transient Pictures for the brewery’s 25th anniversary.

Today’s beer video is a short film about prohibition and its effects. Entitled Prohibition: The Forgotten Crusade, it was created by Jared K. Productions. They originally uploaded it in 2007 but because it uses old footage, it looks much older than that, so when it was actually produced I can’t say.
Today’s beer video originally aired on the History Channel, and appears to be part of a series, although I confess I don’t remember it at all. This episode of World in a Glass tackles beer. I’m not sure when it was produced, but it was long enough ago that Don Barkley was still working for Mendocino Brewing. It’s in English, although it’s subtitled throughout in, what is that: Greek?
